"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:  God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." (I Timothy 3:16)

Does this scripture and others of holy writ declare a mystery that no one can understand, or reveal a mystery for any to understand "that hath an ear to hear what the Spirit saith"?

Age-End Awakenings to Mystery of Israel's Messiah

  Sweetest of all Age-end awakenings, both on the part of Israel and of real Christians (as contrasted to Christendom), is the larger understanding of God!  That there is to come a new conception and understanding of God right at the Age-End, which is declared to be brought by the Holy Ghost, is announced in Zech. 14:9.  Speaking of the Day of Jehovah (yet future but now actually at hand), the Holy Spirit in that passage records, "And in that Day Jehovah shall be one and His name one!"

  Babylon led the world into rebellion against God at its iniquitous Tower from the apostate deification of Cush, Nimrod and his dissolute Queen, Semiramis.  Research shows this as the origin for every "god" and "goddess" of every land.  Unregenerate mankind has since insisted on a society (or plurality) of "Gods".  This apostasy, introduced by Babylon, has tainted Christians perhaps because the Scriptures do represent God as "Father", "Son", and "Holy Ghost." But an honest survey of all Scriptures most plainly reveals these not as three "Gods" but as one only God in three great relationships in redemption.
